Our Clay Days are the perfect way to try your hand at the potter’s wheel! This lighthearted, hands-on experience is all about fun, creativity, and a little bit of mess.
Your session begins with an entertaining wheel demonstration from your instructor, then you’ll jump in and give it a try yourself. With guidance along the way and plenty of encouragement, you are guaranteed a session full of laughter, creativity, and good vibes.
This experience is open to all ages, making it a great opportunity to sign up with family or friends and enjoy something new together.
While the focus is on the process rather than the final product, you definitely won’t leave empty-handed! At the end of the session, each participant will choose a handmade pottery item—such as a cup, bowl, or vessel—from our special “Gift Shelf” to take home and enjoy.

Our Clay Nights are perfect for friends or couples to get together and try their hand at the potter’s wheel! This is a fun experience, you will not keep what you make, but you won’t leave empty handed!
The price of clay nights is going up to $120+tax starting in February 2026. If you have a gift certificate for the old clay night price ($113) email us at info@cottagepotterystudio.ca for a code to cover the remaining balance.
Your night kicks off with an entertaining wheel demonstration. With guidance from your instructor and encouragement from your cohort, spend the night attempting to create a masterpiece. Laughter, shenanigans and creativity will round out the evening.
At the end of the night each person will choose a pottery gift (cups, bowls and other vessels made by our staff. Example image below) to bring home and enjoy.
If you want to make and keep your own masterpieces, ask about classes, workshops or private events.

Clay nights are priced per couple (Qty 1 = 2 people). If you'd like to book for a group of 3, please email us and we'll be happy to arrange it. If you have a group of 6-20, email us to set up your own event!
