The Yoga of Pottery

Working with clay is its own form of yoga. Just as we come to the mat to center body and mind, in pottery we center through touch, breath, and posture. The way we sit, breathe, and move with clay shapes not only the vessel but also our inner calm.

Each coil, slab, or pinch becomes a mindful gesture — a union of creativity, alignment, and presence. The yoga of pottery reminds us that making is not only about the finished piece, but about the delight, focus and stillness we grow along the way.
